I am on year 6+
Oh, my bad, sorry, yes flats. On the rounds?!? You sure you don't mean the flats?
How do TI jazz rounds compare to EB Slinky Cobalt rounds for tone and lifespan? Anyone have that comparison? Thanks!
Thanks all for the many replies. Great info. I'm a big fan of their flats and have them on 2 of my 32" scale instruments. My 32" scale P wearing rounds has run-of-the-mill GHS Boomers which are fine. And at $22 per set, the TI J Rounds would need to last 3x longer to be cost equivalent. But it sounds like there may be other benefits making them worth a try.
A couple of months of daily playing. Rotosound 66 rounds tend to go dead fairly quickly. Others, not as quick. Depends on how much you play.
yes, IME. i've never removed a set of TI jazz rounds because they went dead (maybe for mods). they have lasted at least a couple of years.

No, I did not.Good to hear the above. I have TIJRs about 6 months old and they're still going strong. Quite like the tone as they've mellowed out a little too. I was wondering about the Roto's cause they are the only other light gauge medium scale round I could find. But I'll just stick with the TIs. Goal is to change them yearly, but we'll see.
Did you try them out?
