Tiny amps?

So this guy at my school's Guitar Club was jamming on his guitar, with a tiny amp on his belt. I tried using it, but it didn't produce a sound.
Anybody know of small belt-attachable bass amps?

Nothing for bass, but I highly doubt that anything for bass with a 2" speaker would sound any better than one meant for guitar. Markbass has the MicroMark that's a 9" cube if you have big belt and $500.

Update: Still not able to be clipped to your belt, but I did find the ROLAND MICROCUBEBASSRX -- 4, 4" speakers, battery powered, but still $250.
