There is some truth to this, but if we answer all questions this way - along with "learn to use the search function" - then there would be no need for new posts ever. (BTW - learn to use the edit function ;) )

Bass legend: Finding a teacher and taking some lessons is a good idea, and also you may find it helpful to do search of the techniques forum for: slap or slap/pop. Do you have a basic understanding of what slap/pop style playing is and are just having trouble with it or do you need to know what it is? Can you give more detail about what it is you're having trouble understanding? Maybe we could offer some tips.
