To ground or not to ground......

This probably won't be easy, but you'll need to run a wire to the strap pin that's holding the tailpiece on:

Take off the tailpiece, drill a small diameter hole through the bottom of the body near where the strap button is. Feed a ground wire through the hole and fish it through the body where you can grab it. Make sure there are a few inches outside of the body. Solder the ground wire to the existing ground. Back at the strap button, secure the ground wire to the tailpiece. Put the strap button back in place. Hope this helps.
