To TB:

To start off, although I don't post quite often, I've been lurking around for a while now, and you folks deserve this.

First, to the folks running this place and the mods helping: This is the most organized, well run forum I have ever seen on the internet, Ever. I don't say this lightly, but even reading the rules it is plain to see the level of care and work put into them. I am truly impressed by that, and not only that! The group of mods and admins here aren't just faceless gods of Justice, but are perhaps the most spirited and caring administration I have ever had the privilege to see. I'm honored to be under your mighty fists of Justice!

Second, to the TB community: You guys (and gals) have shown such love that I had never seen before from an internet forum, or even in a club in real life! The way you welcome new members is simply astounding. Plus, the atmosphere always feels amazing, as if we were all a really, really large group of friends, united for a common love, purpose, and enjoyment. Infact, nearly all bassists have shown to be good people, maybe it's just a bonus from the hobby ( /job/love/enjoyment/purpose)! I don't think I'll ever leave TB, it's just that Gooood, like a second home.

Third and finally, I've said a lot of rather large statements, but I stand firmly behind them as truth. I don't think I've even scratched the surface of all that TB has to offer, and maybe this is a better way of saying it:
Thank You Talkbass, and Everyone that makes it so Special.
:)

you're welcome :p

Amen. This place has a great administration, and it's hard work, but it's a passion for this place that keeps them going. I used to do it, retired after 18 hard months, and have nothing but the utmost respect for the guys that still do it.

I hung up the bass two years ago, and still come back to TB daily for the people. I still know a thing or two, but I mostly don't play anymore. But you people are like family to me. I'll likely be sticking around forever.

My first reaction is "You brown noser!" but I think you're pretty much accurate with your praise of this site. I've been participating in discussion forums of all kinds for a long time and this is easily the one that I spend the most time on because of how informative, useful, fun and just plain awesome it is.

Yep, me too. Every so often I go out and buy a bunch of bass gear with the intent of getting back into playing. It sits in my den and collects dust, then I sell it.

Speaking of, I need to post a couple things in the classifieds.
