Tobias Growler serial number

I'm have a deal pending to buy a Tobias Growler 5 string. I know it isn't one of the newer ones because it has the toggle switches instead of all knobs. On the back of the headstock it is stamped "made in USA" and serial number "7611". Does anyone know about what year this bass was made? Thanks!
