Tobias Growler truss rod tool

Yes, it's the 1/4" "pipe" style wrench that many members below have ref. to. I think SDG Lutherie has a good lead from Stewart MacDonalds supply (google them). These are the same as used for the Killer B.

I used to have a few spares, but over the last 15 years since I was with Tobias, I've lost all but one, and I need that as I still have a thriving repair business on the side.

Good luck.

This is what I'm trying to work with.

Hi everyone, sorry to bring this back; I've just got a Tobias renegade (two truss rods) like the Growler and can't find the right tool ! I've read this tread and some other, couldn't find any exact info; please help!!?

I can get at mine with at small standard wrench.

Same thing here. I have a small Craftsman open end / box end 1/4" wrench that will fit in a pinch. The box end has a thinner wall thickness which allows it to squeeze into tighter spaces. I also have a pair of thin-walled 1/4" "hash pipe" truss rod wrenches which are only 13/16" stem to stern.
