maybe this one works, this is a sunburst one, the black one is sold or something, if it doesnt work, here are the specs:

+1 - I haven't seen a Tokai bass in years, but I was impressed with the overall sound and build quality of the Fender copies they made back then - as good as Fender's offerings, if not better.

I may have said this before, the Tokai/Brice/Dillion were 3 different brands but all units came out of the same place, even down to the slightly larger headstock. I assume the only differences were the proprietary bridge/electronics, and perhaps knob/input placement slight differences. I have the Dillion set-neck version, and could not be happier for the time that I have owned it for fit/finish/playability.

although I have never seen one, they did say that a lefty model was available for Brice/Dillion as well, but only on special order.....lol, they probably bought a Tokai, and changed the pickups, and name on the headstock.

my only complaint is the slab body has sharp edges, and it is noticeable, but I have had this thing so long, I don't even feel the edge on my arm anymore.

i just got one 4 months ago...and LOVE IT! after a professional set up ( cost me $65) it plays like a dream and sounds great...
Always wanted a lefty Thunderbird... so glad i found it.

Older Tokais, from the 80s are quite nice. I have a Tokai P-bass from right around the "lawsuit" era, and it's a killer. The newer, chinese made ones have build quality right up there with most of the Chinese-made basses. Well done, usually, but nothing really noteworthy. I would try to score an older Tokai or other Japanese "lawsuit" instrument.

sorry abour topic reanimation, but i was wondering if the pickup size is sthe standard EMG35 sopebar? iI wonder because i love the TB shape and i want to have several, so i would get a tokai and "enhance" it with duncans
