Double Bass Tololoche/Bass Strings

Has anyone tried putting tololoche strings on a standard 3/4 size upright? If so, how did it sound? Did they fit ok?
I've done it. They're meant to be tuned A,D,G,C So you're going to have to tune them way down to E,A,D,G (like a bump set). $20 from Mariachi Loco on Ebay.. They may be too floppy like that for your taste. I ended up just using the A,D & G and bought a tape wound Innovation "Rockabilly" E string. Worked out pretty good.
Here's a sound clip of the Selmer tololoche strings tuned down to E,A,D,G...

I have a set of azul blanco rojo Prados on my laminated Shen 3/4, got them from usmusicstore.com they fit on fine, the E is thick and had to work it into the saddle, other than that they strung up fine. The E is floppy but I dig it, they're a lot of fun to slap and for $50 well worth it.
