Yeah, its an awesome bass. i wish they had a 5er. I have the F255FM. They are almost the same. Of course the full ESP signature version is gonna be expensive. As for the pentagram inlays being cheesy, it wouldnt be a Tom Araya Slayer signature series bass without them. ANd if your not a Slayer fan, then forget about the bass.

Sadowsky sells Alder made basses for close to $3k?
Yes yes, I have a bass made out of the same woods (alder body, maple neck, ebony fingerbord), and more or less the same EQ, and it cost me under a third of that price.
Tom Araya Series ESP Bass Guitars are really awesome instruments for play.. if anybody wants to have one of these must really have to visit the eBay for compare and learn the prices of all the models.. Link Removed

Just order it from the custom shop. It's probably not going to cost you much more than the most expensive version of the Signature series. Plus you get to modify the inlays (if you want to) and you won't have the signature.
