Tom Hamilton's "Walk This Way" tone

Hamilton used his original concentric pot Jazz in sunburst on Toys in the Attic. Lot of people think it was a thunderbird but that is incorrect.

We just added this one to our setlist, and my Jazz 5 string into an Ampeg SCR-DI cops the tone nicely. It's just that scooped, grindy J into SVT tone. Great tone, not super tough to copy. I really like playing it though - first time I've had it on a setlist. Fun bassline.
