Tone cap "fixable"?

Basically I was snooping around in the control cavity of my Fender 62 RI P-Bass...had some noise issues and thought there might be a loose wire or something.
Anyway, I found nothing and when I was attempting to put everything back in I accidentally turned the tone pot which broke one of the little wires coming out of the tone cap. The wire literally pulled right out of the cap.
Is it fixable or should I just get another tone cap?

find any store with an electronics tech or even a good guitar tech, and you can buy a replacement for like a dollar.

Not a joke at all. Why do you want an orange drop? You will pay more money and it will sound exactly the same.

The small green polyester film caps at Radio Shack are pretty much the same thing as an orange drop.

Caps are caps.
