Tone Pot

I've got an old OLP bass that was handed down to me. The volume and tone controls were ripped out.

Anyway, I'm trying to put it together for a show tomorrow, but all I have left of the electronics is a pot, a capacitor and a 1/4" jack. I was wondering if it is possible to not have a volume knob, just a tone knob and what on earth that would look like from the inside. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure if this is completely right, but here you go. I used P-bass cuz that's what I'm familiar with, but either way, it should look the same with whatever you've got there.

That's pretty much perfect, but there is one problem. The red wires in the diagram should be connected to the middle terminal on the pot.

Or put the cap to the middle terminal - either way will work.
