Tone pump wiring question...

Yeah the battery red and power wire to the pup need to be world together as well. The purple wire to the jack is your output, the black wire to the jack completes the "switch" to enable power, and the second black wire to the jack is the ground. I think you can also tie that ground wire from the jack to the bridge as well if you need to. Emg's don't ground to the bridge though.
 
Looking it over, and going over what I remember of my rebop ( which had the 9 wire pre, emg Hz's and a ground wire under the bridge), the wire your missing is a ground. If memory serves, they daisy chain a ground from the pots, the jack and the bridge. I'll see if I can get Donny, to confirm also. He has my old pre , and the install was pretty straight forward.
