Tone pump wiring question...

Recently bought a "Tone Pump" Preamp here on TB from PhatBasstard. He was nice enough to send two wiring diagrams along with it. But the diagrams he sent (aswell as what I've found online) all have ten(10) wires coming from the box. The pre he sent me only has nine(9).
Anyone have any experience with this? Is it an older model?
I intend to put this in a stingray copy. Any help would be much appreciated.

What is the color of the extra wire in the diagram? Do the rest of the colors match up with the pic? Phat is a great guy, we'll get ya hooked up! Love to hear that pre in a mm. That should be beast!

The extra wire in the schematics is black. Yes the other colors match(listed as alternate colors ie: blue=purple

Can you tell which black wire is extra in the schematic? I'll pop my euro open and see what I have . The black wires are all ground, they may have used a common ground in there . Let me see what I have.

If the wires are facing you...it's the second wire from right(next to red).

Mine both have 10 but the new wire colors. You don't have the black wire in-between the yellow and red wires correct? ( the ground for the treble pot) . The treble pot case and right most pin are connected together (flat back of the pot facing you). You should then connect the case of the treble pot to the case of the bass pot . You should be good to go like that. I had a non trimpot tone pump that was like that.

Yea it's a nom trimpot version. I'm still waiting on my pots to get here...just wanted to get a jump om it. Thanks man

Yeah that was the same as my non trim pump. No biggie, just they way they did it. Phat's a good guy and wouldn't steer ya wrong. Don't be suprised if that pre is wicked hot. Most of the non trim pot pumps are usually pretty hot to match the output of the original haz. They work best imo. In front of a tube pre. They made them hot to drive the pre's back in the day I believe. Your mm should have been hot also so it should be in the ball park.

Also DO NOT run that pre at 18v . Most of the non trim pot pumps won't handle it and will fry.

I read about the 18v sim in these. My main amp is a mesa mpulse600. So i cant wait hear this thing driven

Worship rocker has my old non trim pump on his bass. He offered to take photos and help out when your pots come in. We'll get ya hooked up. Gotta post some clips though, I wanna hear a pump in a mm!

Ok. So I cant post pics from my phone....
The wires are as follows: left to right
Black,clear,yellow,black,gray,blue,black,purple,red.

Gray/blue/black(3) are wired to 10k(bass?)
Red is hot(batt terminal)

So....any suggestion? This is going in a single mm won't need blend.

The extra is just a ground. Ground that pot to another like we talked about. Still not sure what to connect to make it work without a blend. Worse comes to worse, call spector. Tell them what your trying to do and I'm sure they'll know. They will help you out. Great people there that care.

Ok. No reply from spector. Finally got the "right" pots I ordered. I'm gonna post couple possible diagrams @work tomorrow to get some opinons on what's right.

Ok so here is a couple versions of possible ways to wire my non-trim pot tone pump(9 wires instead of ten). Single MM pup, no blend knob. If these will work lmk what I need to do to get it hooked up.
EX 1:

Ex 2: Bridge ground, bass to volume ground

Any/all help is greatly appreciated!
