The term 'Vintage' for classic cars is 30 years right? I feel that should apply to music gear too, so anything made before 1983 I would consider 'Vintage'. If you want to argue the best i can do is 25 years lol

So it seems vintage=80's or older. Sticking with heads only or I'd have B-15 at 1 or 2. Only Amps I have some experience with.

The Fender Bassman should be somewhere on this list. No, it isn't that big and loud and yes, guitar players pretty much took it over....but it still sounds great and was one of the first attempts at a proper electric bass amp.

I am amazed no love for the Trace Elliot V8. (not that I have ever owned or even played one, just read so many great things about them here on TB.)

"Vintage" just means a specific year. It is more appropriate as a term to describe something that is no longer being made or has been replaced by another product than something that is necessarily made before a specific date.
