Top 3 recorded bass tones

"The guy from Queensryche". I love it. Didn't even bother to google it before starting the thread :P.
I'd have to think about it... but I'm pretty sure the question is too vague for me to answer.

1) J Bass
2) P Bass
3) Stingray/Sterling
 
I think he means 'top 3 in your opinion'.
Far too subjective a subject for any other interpretation (in my opinion).

I'll play:
My favorites (the order really depends on my mood at the time)
1)Geddy on Limelight
2)Tony Levin on absolutely anything he played on
3)Tom Petersson on Gonna Raise Hell

greg ridley off the 'smokin' album - killer!

tony stevens of foghat on the muddy waters tune 'i just wanna make love to you' (no, really, ha!)

glenn hughes of deep purple on the album 'come taste the band' and other dp from that era
