You're right. At the time I posted that, I'd only read about half of the first page. The rest of this thread HAS been great. I like to think ugly-bassplayer's posts helped keep the haters at bay. Well done, ugly-bassplayer! In my defense, though, hip-hop threads do tend to bring out the worst in TB. I'm glad this thread has been an exception.

Some people don't seem to understand the point of OT. This is NOT the music discussing section of the forum. If you want to have a legit conversation on music that's not related to basses, amps, effects, etc... then you post it in Miscellaneous. Otherwise, prepare your flame suit because the comedians and hecklers are gonna come out and have some fun.

This is the wrong forum, and I hope the thread gets moved, but comedians and hecklers reside in every forum, and they're not shy! At least it only took about a half-page before this thread got back on track.

Yeah I know how these threads usually turn out. Good thing I was here. I'm the cool guy leader that lets other cool people know that what is going on is indeed cool and should not be made fun of.

Also, the guy who creates the beats/samples is on stage mixing the beats up live with a drum machine, i thought that was pretty damn cool... They record their samples with live instruments (from piano, to drums, to guitar). There was an interview with Amp Live where he said he is disappointed in hiphop/rap taking samples from other artist and to him it feels empty and he wants his creation to be his own. Also cool, i thought.
