Another user of superglue here. I only used it when I was starting out. After a while my fingers got so calloused that I never got a blister again. It probably helped that I'd drag them along concrete walls and the like when not playing.

If the blister is on the first finger, then use fingers 2 and 3 to play with.

I have used superglue reinforced with a bit of cloth, to cover a blister- works fine and usually holds for three hours of playing or so.
