Toronto/GTA GTG anyone?

Okay, what about this? Local semi-reliable sources have pointed out to me the church basement in which some of Rush's early practices took place, what about seeing if we could use that? :eek:

(Sorta half-joking, but else do we have for a venue?)

heh. my wife and i will be coming up to toronto to visit some time around then, so i may be able to make this, depending on when it is. we're driving, so i can bring a couple basses too :D

i've met some tb'ers before on my trips to to, we just met in the hotel lobby (i was staying at mariott eaton centre) or at the book store in eaton centre. had my basses in there too. :D

This is no joke.. a Church basement is prime for this sort of event. If you have more info, please share it.

Let us know when you find out the date. A Toronto GTG and JT with his basses, that's just too much!

Isn't there some community centre in Toronto that could work?

I'm sure the CC in my town would be able to free up a room for something like this. Is Ajax too long of a drive for most people? If not, I'll see what I can do.

Ajax sounds cool, do you mean the big CC where all the judo tournaments are held? I know how to get there!

You shouldn't have problems getting a bass on the train. I went to MIAC (in Toronto) a few months ago using the train, and even if I didn't brought my bass, it would have been very easy. Both a hard case or a gig bag would fit easily.
