Canada Toronto Ont. GTG......

Hey guys. I hate to bail so last minute. My wife apparently made plans with my inlaws. On the plus side I get to spend all day saturday slowly smoking a gigantic piece of meat. On the down side. There will be no bass. Unless I smoke some Sea Bass. Eh Eh? No? Sorry :(

I'll be able to make it, would love to get a chance to play through one of the new 360's, going to bring a 64 p, a 69 star fire II, got an acoustic image amp, bergantino ae410 and mark bass compressore I can bring too.

Yesssss!

I'll be bringing my Genz-Benz Streamliner 900 and Audio Kinesis Thunderchild AF, and I would kill to hear an Acoustic Image through the TC.

I'll also be bringing the 5-string from my avatar (EMG 40P5's at the neck and bridge, 18V, no tone controls), my Squier VM Jazz fretless w/DiMarzio Area J's (just strung with fresh Chromes), and an Empress ParaEQ.

Someone who can actually play fretless will have to have a go with the Squier, as my intonation sucks!

If I get to feeling really energetic, I might bring a Flite 110MH cab as well...

Amazing! I have wanted to give one of the VM fretless' a try for a while now, only got to play fretted ones so far, we'll have to plug it in with the AI and thunder child for sure. if there are any other upright players coming as well that want to see it, I have a Chadwick bass at my rehearsal space I can grab on the way down.

I'm aiming to be there before 12 and setup my gear. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and saying Hi to some friends I've made from the previous GTG we did.

I'll be taking videos and pictures and I will post the pictures up this week on this thread.

Thanks to everyone who came today. It was great meeting all of you and checking out some cool gear.

I posted some comments and photos over in the Roscoe action shots thread, since there was such a high concentration of Roscoes today and they're obviously a favourite of mine. Nothing new to see for those who were present today, but here's the link: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f153/...shots-thread-645171/index17.html#post12037796

I definitely really liked the way both of the basses Joe brought sounded. All the Roscoes had me impressed for sure. Your Rob Allen was really fun to play too, love the tape wounds. Hearing all your rigs definitely makes me want to make a change from the ae410... that acoustic 360 sure was something else too, would love to have one of those to crank up at big outdoor shows. As far as the opposite type show goes, my band, The Treasures, plays in the drake hotel bar every tuesday at 10 for the rest of the month. It was good to meet you all, hopefully we can have another one some time soon.
