Total lunar eclipse tonight - Sunday, Jan 20th

The missus & I went out just before midnight to watch the eclipse. We'd been watching from the comfort of our kitchen up until about 11:30, when the moon was maybe half obscured but not yet turning red. Started getting difficult to see from that window, so we decided to brave the 6°F temps to get a better glimpse.

Yeah, you read that right: 6°F

We lasted about 15 minutes. Long enough to see some red hue, but not quite long enough to see the full blown wolf.

Worth it anyway.
