We had an extreme crane collapse on a big Google building going up a couple years ago in South Lake Union where a couple passerby were killed. I think I posted pics of the aftermath, and I recently bheard that the operating company was found guilty of negligence during its disassembly and lowering.

Low hanging Cumulus cloud formations over the L.A. Basin after today's rainstorm. The local SoCal weather as of late has been great for amateur cellphone photography.
