Yeah, it's much bigger than the last time I went a few years back. We took 2 families and 5 kids between us and it took over an hour and a half to get round. That's including stopping for hot chocolate and toasting marshmallows. Well worth it and something everyone from grandma to babies can enjoy. We usually take the kids down to see Santa at Traquair house at Innerleithen but we we missed that as we were away. I think we've adopted this as our new Christmas family tradition as some of the kids are too old for Santa now.

Edinburgh Royal Botanic Gardens. At Christmas they illuminate the gardens. In the summer they have Shakespeare plays as part of the Festival Fringe. It's a great place for a walk anytime of year.

That's a sponge resting on the former tooth brush, now a cleaning tool. And next to a patio chair leg.
Yep, fire pit frame...now resting comfortably in the land fill.
Just kind of an odd juxtaposition of stuff.

We have (had) a similar one in our front yard around our FD regulation designed firepit. I say had because most of the stones are missing by now, and it's mostly just a shell of it's former self. We'll probably get rid of it by spring.
We actually found it a block away a few years ago, as neighbors who probably had it in their backyard left it out front in a gesture of curbside recycling. We carried it home and it fit perfectly over our own.
