Oh, how dare you ask.

It is currently vacant, and will remain so, until the end of The Age.

United Parcel Service wanted the building (and would have brought two-thousand jobs to the area), however, with the help of The City, it went to an Australian Investment Group, whom are a shell company for Amazon.

True story.

So it will become an Amazon facility in the future? Just curious as I had friends who worked there when MD and Boeing were building the C-17's .

Amazon will most likely not do anything, with it, as it was purely a move to keep UPS from acquiring the property.

The City (and Boeing) has a habit of snatching Defeat from the jaws of Victory, and, they did it again (to no one's surprise).

A CFM56-7, undergoing wing-off heavy service. In the second pic (High Pressure Compressor), one can clearly see the "Fir Tree' fittings (blades removed for inspection) to assure maximum blade retention, while allowing for proper sealing throughout the thermal expansion process.
