It's the former Tampa Bay Hotel, built by railroad magnate, Henry B. Plant in 1891. Here's more, if you're interested. Really an amazing accomplishment for that time period.

Very nice, the UK has some really amazing trains preserved - I think a good portion of the population is quite fond of railroad heritage.

Here's an SD40T-2 model, the prototype was developed specifically for use on railroads with long tunnels (conventional locomotives have their radiators on the top and will overheat and shut down in the confined area of a tunnel or snowshed thus stalling the train) in Colorado and California.

These are awesome! I used to have a HO scale train back in the day. Do you have any Birdseye shots of the room you're in and what the wall/background is like? Have you painted the walls to look like the sky?

Excellent there's some great trains in north Wales uk a lot are steam powered on narrow gauge climbing up and down the mountains. The train in the pic is it one of your models it's hard to tell

These shots are all outside, I love using sunlight on models as it really helps impart some realism to the picture, here's what's going on!

I am working on a layout in half of my garage and have painted sky/clouds on the backdrops, however there's nothing truly completed yet.

I haven't done any photoshop yet, mostly I do this as documentation of finished work and to post on a model railroad forum or in one of several Facebook groups.

Rod Stewart as well? That makes several model train enthusiasts that I'm aware of. Neil Young is a big enthusiast and if I'm not mistaken owns part of Lionel.

I understand that Rod would often work on models for his layout when on tour, bringing tools etc. along so he had something to do during down time. It's a beautifully finished layout - mine will be -someday
