While in Nashville we also stopped by the Frist Art Museum and saw the car exhibit that happened to be in town.

There were also a few that looked like space craft. A 50's - 60's interpretation of the future.
After the car show we went over to Pinewood Social to grab a bite to eat. When we were finished it was pouring rain, so we had a few drinks and bowled a few games at their bowling alley.

I'm still amazed at what nice model shots I can get with my iphone 5, I used to use a digital SLR for this kind of thing (it's now unused in a desk drawer). I'm a complete model train dork.......
Here's a model that I weathered, the prototype was built in the '60s and by the mid '70s had become quite dirty, cars of this type are insulated like a thermos bottle and "sweat" thus attracting dirt.
Here's a couple other, these are scratch built from styrene using plans.

The models themselves are airbrushed with an Iwata HP-C, they're weathered with a variety of mediums, chalks, colored pencils, artist acrylics, oils and thinned out paint shot with the airbrush.
I built many models as a child and have 4-5 not-started and 1 that is a 3rd done
I have a badger air gun/comp but have never used it as I don't really have a space or paintbox
it was all I could do to make models looks new, weathering is an entirely different art form.
Really nice. Any non-train model pix?
They are really light i don't know the specs but about the same as a moped

I just do HO scale trains for my modeling - all mid '70s stuff, it's fun to research there are some great websites that are really helpful.

The seat looks a bit better but what about the brakes
but there again thats Racing yes its is a Beauty Speaking of racing don't know if you've seen this clip of a Harley guy racing with some street bikers. This guy is throws sparks in the turns and almost hits some rocks taking some corners. Three times he almost lays it down.
