it was taken in 1973 i was 10 at the timeThat must've been taken near summer solstice - note the double layer of razor wire in the background to keep the hippies out. 1980s?
Amazing shot! Really gives one that will probably never get there perspective. Recently reading that it is suspected all the stones were moved from another site 150 miles away and reconstructed? Whatever happened boggles the mind.t was taken in 1973 i was 10 at the time

Excellent pics a friend of mine used to have a Gt40 Replica. I never got to have a go in it though.SAAC 18 in 1993 Watkins Glen NY. All three of the GT40s that won the 24 hours of Le mans then some. Some nice bass rumble that weekend!View attachment 4181585 View attachment 4181586
I must go back there soon would love to see if again.I was at the festival In 84 as Well went there with my brotherI took the family a couple of years back. There is a good visitor centre now and the middle is grass again but you can't go anywhere near the stones. I was at Stonehenge festival in '84 and the police just stepped aside and let everyone in for the sunrise.
Yea the whole thing is fascinating. like the pyramids in Egypt. Would love to see them as well but i don't think that will happen any time soonAmazing shot! Really gives one that will probably never get there perspective. Recently reading that it is suspected all the stones were moved from a another site 150 miles away and reconstructed?
