Went to the grand opening of a new park near us last night. As usual, my older daughter and I got off the beaten path (literally) and went traipsing thriught the wood. I was wearing my hiking sandals so there's a good chance I got into some poison ivy and a 100% chance I was bitten by a fee bugs on my feet. Totally worth it. Yep, that's her in the tree dangling lover the water. I think she got some pics of me in it too. Possible update later.
I took this pic yesterday. According to this bush in my front yard, it's always the right time for fall colors - even in the middle of spring!
