Totally irrelvant TBer info share thread

Please... PLEASE elaborate. I really NEED to know about how to get to that place. SOON...Really, I do...

Realize that pretty well everything you know got to you from an external source. Therefor you have the freedom to accept or discard anything you learned from an outside source.
You can discard irrelevant thoughts at your discretion.
In order to play bass well you first have to discard any thoughts or information you accepted from TalkBass. Otherwise it's impossible to play because you will keep interrupting yourself with thoughts like "The tone isn't right", " I need a new bass", "This amp doesn't sound right", " What's the best bass for metal?", etc etc etc.

Know that your mind was a pristine environment at one time. There is still time to bring it back to it's state of gin-clear purity and innocence.

Is it wrong to throw canned tuna in with "blue box" macaroni and cheese? Also, a bunch more cheese, ranch dressing, mustard, chili powder, crushed red pepper, garlic powder, and tons of black pepper? I don't think it's wrong. If you think it's wrong, then you're wrong.

It is never the right thing to put canned tuna in anything but the garbage can.

Edit: Just ask @slobake
