I just spent about four hours pouring my heart and soul into writing a cover letter and rewriting my resume. I probably won't even get an interview, even though I meet or exceed all requirements, and it is directly in line with my career path. I love the world.

I currently work for some kind of asshat, and he's not the first. In the past fifteen years, I have held nine different jobs, the majority of which were asshat jobs.

I responded to a surprisingly well written job posting this time. It lacked the typical arbitrary list of cliché applicant qualities. It was clearly written by an intelligent individual, and I feel like I matched their level with my cover letter. I have hopes.

They are more versatile than you think. Just need a sidecar for all occasions.
