Hi guys, I just got this AH350X for Christmas and don’t know a thing about it. I had an AH200 which I bought new 30 years ago but recently burnt in a fire. My question is about connecting to the Trace Elliot 4-10 cabinet. I know I should use the channel B XLR output but on the cabinet end, should I use the XLR jack or 1/4” jack? Also, the “Graphic Equalization” button is missing but the led “IN” is illuminated so I guess the EQ is enabled. Am I correct? And lastly, the button below that, “Middle Cut Pre-Shaping” button doesn’t seem to be working as the “In” indication never turns on. Does anybody know where I can find these buttons? British audio only shows one push button on their list and I don’t know if it’s the same. I haven’t pulled this thing apart yet to see if there is any markings on the button that is still there. Trace Elliot AH350X

It's been decades since I owned my AH350X head, but I'll do my best to help.
The AH350X was specifically designed to be used as a bi-amp head along with the 1818X cabinet.
Here's my Trace rig complete with Status bass back in '85. Yep, I was a full on believer and fully drank the Kool-Aid.
As far as I recall, the primary power section of the AH350X was 250 watts (XLR output) to power the 18" speaker, and the secondary power section was 100 watts (1/4" jack) which was meant to power the 10" speaker (2 of these cabs could be used with this head.)
Yes, if the "IN" light is on, the EQ is enabled.
I'm not sure where you may be able to find the buttons for these heads (we used to refer to these as "Chiclet" buttons, as they resembled this brand of gum.) However, you may want to contact British Audio to see if they can help:British Audio | Where Gear Comes To Life

Since you own a Trace cabinet, you can use either. Just make sure that it's a speaker cable.
BTW, I'm sure there are Trace Elliot groups on Facebook - you may want to see if anyone has the switch caps you're looking for.

Firstly, just changing the switch isn't necessarily going to do much : use your ears to determine if the pre-shape gets engaged / disengaged as you cycle the switch (it may be that the LED no longer lights up).
If the tone, and apparent loudness doesn't change as the switch is cycled, it should be fairly obvious as to whether the pre-shape is permanently engaged, or permanently bypassed (in either case, it's not that hard to approximate it's effect, or counter it's effect using the graphic equaliser).
Secondly, Trace Elliot XLR speaker outputs are not wired in the conventional way (and of course the cables are speaker wire. A regular XLR microphone cable isn't a safe option).
Usually, Trace offer both an XLR and 1/4" jack output per full bandwidth channel (only use one at a time), and just offer 1/4" output for band-passed channels, so you don't need XLR speaker cables at all, but it's a more secure connection.
