Trace Elliot issue ah600smx (Ive already searched)

So i got a helluva deal on 3 malfunctioning trace amps, got two of them going, but the last one i need some help with. Im guessing its a problem in the solid state preamp section, but im not sure, just guessing.

So the amp makes a rumbling, almost howling noise. Sounds just like the rumble of an airliner, or kinda like blowing into a mic.

The amp still amplifies the instrument just fine, but as you turn up the volume, the rumble goes up in volume too.

It happens out of both left and right outputs.

Now here is why i think its in the solid state section. When i turn off the graphic eq, the noise gets louder, and when i turn the solid/tube preamp blend knob to the solid state side, its gets very loud. When i turn it all the way to the tube side, it gets very quiet, almost gone.

Any ideas? maybe the caps? idk?

If you need any more info, i will gladly post it.

Ive already cleaned all the pots, switches, and eq sliders.

Please help

pretty sure that was the guy then. he was in noho, but two i got working right away, the last im pretty sure will be filter capacitors. Most places i know dont give free estimates so its hard to just jump around place to place.

Thank you tho.
