Their sound is incredible ... but he needs a tune up and new tubes.

For those discussing the existence of quatra power amps, yes they do exist. Think they just excluded the main preamp, though the wee single 'test' valve preamp is still there. I know someone said they'd seen one but just in case anyone was interested ...

Hello! I'm curious to know if you still have your VR and if you purchased it new? These seem to be extremely rare. I recently aquired one of these through TB and I'd love to get an idea how many are out there.

Thanks for the pic. Does anybody know how many of these were built? I dig my Quatra Valve but mainly as a power amp. I'm going to see if I can find a quieter fan for mine, wouldn't be an issue on a loud stage, but louder than I like for playing at home.

+1 anyone involved with TE have an idea an idea how many of these were built/imported to the U.S.?
