Tracking shipments

Oh I track all right! Like being a kid counting the days until xmas, every time.

I don't. That way madness lies.

I'll check it on the anticipated delivery day, and if it's either flagged "out for delivery" or at my local freight office, I'll set the UPS/Fedex notice to go to my cellphone when it's been delivered.

I don't think I could comfortably watch my order work it's way through the convoluted tracery of the US delivery system without getting anxious. And with all the other grief that we get to deal with every day, who needs that?

Well I just hit the jackpot! I was waiting for a GK 700RBII to arrive USPS (signature needed) today but I had to go out for work a couple times. This morning I had to go out for about 5 hrs. Not too worried because USPS usually comes in the afternoon. Get home at 1:00, no missed delivery notice so all good. Then had to head out again at 2:00 for a couple hours, this had me nervous. It went much quicker than expected, get home about 3:00 and the USPS truck is at the neighbors. A few minutes later and the package is delivered! Yeah!

Now to plug it in and test it out.
