Tracking shipments

I think that's only natural. Some tracking systems suck like a slush pump on the upgrading front, though, so I have learned not to become too obsessed. On the other hand, a bass I just traded for will be here tomorrow, way sooner than expected. Woot !!

I wish I could have ordered it off Amazon. I'd have it by tomorrow so I could play with it over the weekend. Unfortunately I got a deal on the B3 from GC because I did the trade in trade up thing. I'm an Amazon Prime member so I get free 2 day shipping.

I'm doing that right now with an Amazon order. It's torture.

Meanwhile, back when I used to run an online business, the local shipping service was so quick that the parcel would arrive at my customer's premises before the item even made it onto the online tracking system.

Max
Happens with USPS all the time, though for a different reason. What a cruddy tracking system.

I do, but when I goes awry then I'm wound tighter than an 8 day clock! Although FedEx got me the other day- bass showed up two days early!!

Placed my first order from Sweetwater for a Squire Jaguar SS. Emailed today wanting to know tracking number. They sent it, I clicked on it. FedEx says they delivered four hours earlier?
What the? I was home. Check front and back porch. Nothing. Side door, nothing. Recheck delivery. Driver note says left at garage. The detached garage, that faces away from the house? yep, right there leaning against the wall. It would have been there for days if I had not checked tracking.

He probably knocked once on the garage bay door to fulfill his obligation of attempting contact...

My Zoom B3 departed Lenexa, KS yesterday via UPS at 5:21 AM. No updates since then. I feel like I lost radar contact with the Space Shuttle on re-entry!! I hope Hurrican Patricia doesn't screw things up.

I was waiting for a phone from Verizon last February but FedEx was experiencing delays due to the ice storms in Tennessee. I was going crazy!!

How many of you are obsessed like me and track a shipment of a new piece of gear at least twice a day just to see where it's at or be filled with hope that it will be here sooner?

I am too. As soon as I get tracking, its entered into my phone app, and is watched until the day of delivery. Im not as bad as I used to be. But I still do keep an eye on new shipments.
