TRADING BASS GUITARS?

If meeting to trade guitars in a deal isn't possible, with distance and other factors, how do you go about doing it?

I understand I could use the postal service but how do both parties have peace of mind in posting basses to people you've never met? I've never done this so I'm unsure how it goes down

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks in advance

A lot depends on identifying the other party...is he a TBer, active on E-bay, etc.? Look at my feedback. I've only met a couple of these jolly jokers face-to-face.

Trade a Paypal Penny.. this gets your address and tracking stuff all in one place.

I've done this international with a fellow TBer...

We swapped tons of emails.. spoke on the phone.

Long story, but I shipped from his country.. I had a 3rd party receive his bass and ship mine.
