Yup, that's why I got mine. Super clear and can go from "barely there" to "facemelt" in a simple knob turn.

Another option worth looking at is the Earthquaker Devices Westwood. It gets dirty but is still pretty transparent and tame even when you dime it.

Nah I've already got a crossover Dirt pedal, maybe I'll get around to the After shock but the longsword has peaked my intrest

Okay...best of luck to you on your search. the after shock is great because you can create your own drives via neuro app from source audio.
