It uses a "Millenium Bypass", so not true bypass but yes non tone-sucking IME

Millenium Bypass is true bypass. When you bypass, the input passes to the output through the switch contacts. Only the LED indicator switching is different than mechanical switching.

Yep. I have the AC Tone and can verify that. The Joyo Ultimate Drive is the same.
Millennium bypass should connect the input straight to the output in bypass muff do it would still do so with no power connected.
