Transpose tuba part to bass within Guitar Pro?

Anyone know of a quick way within Guitar Pro to take a Tuba part in standard notation and convert it to Bass guitar?

I know I have to move the standard notation of tuba up an octave to show it as bass guitar in standard notation. I'm just slow at reading bass clef notation and consequently, slow at writing up the bass guitar notation an octave up. If it's possible to to cut and paste tuba to bass, that's what I'm looking for. I did a quick trial and a straight cut and paste between the two instruments shifts the tuba C note to bass G note, so that's a failure.

FYI, I'm using Guitar Pro 8.

I know you didn't ask but musescore lets you do that. Musescore also has a beta feature that is mostly successful at importing a standard notation pdf, from there you can transpose and convert to tab

Thanks for that suggestion. I'll try musescore as I get time. Still using Guitar Pro till then.

Guitar Pro has a Transpose command in the Tools menu that brings up a box with numerous transposition options. I believe you should be able to transpose your tuba score to bass guitar with it.
