Traynor Bass Master (YBA-4) audio samples

Hi all,

I've been in the market for a new bass amp for a while now. I have been looking at either going retro or modern... kinda one or the other. Like a Darkglass with a 2x12 or a 1960 Ampeg B15.

All that to say, the other day a 1972 Traynor Bass Master (YBA-4) came up on my local Marketplace for $750 CAD (head only). Only issue is that I can't find any audio samples of it with a bass. Only guitar. And with COVID the seller isn't exactly excited about bringing it out of storage and driving it to my house for me to try just for kicks. Serious buyers only etc.

I've scoped the market and the price is average - it's been rewired and has all the tubes upgraded etc.

What are you thoughts on this amp?

Same as YBA-1 (the YBA-4 was the combo version). A bit pricey unless it’s completely recapped with good healthy tubes. ~45 watts.

**Sorry, just saw that it’s rebuilt. Paid my YBA-1 525 CAD plus 100 for the can caps.

Solid amp for me but I don’t gig, it’s only for studio use. It makes a good guitar amp I’ve heard.
