So, I just blew a power tube in my YBA-200 (upgraded to KT88's, etc...). Does this mean I'm gonna have to replace all the tubes or can I just replace the two on that side with a matched pair? And would I HAVE to re-bias everything?

Depends on where you got the tubes from. If you got them from thetubestore.com you can tell them the " matched pair # " and they will sell you a plug and play tube. If not, you'll have to buy a pair and re-bias.

If your YBA200 is still in warranty, it might qualify for the YBA200-2 upgrade.
Since you live in TO you don't have to fly solo on fixing your rig.
Yeah, but I'm not the original owner and I know it's older than 2 years. Besides, tubes aren't covered and there's a really good amp tech in TO that I'll probably give a call. The amp's already been upgraded to the -2 spec, btw.
Ihave no idea why anyone would consider the KT88 as an "upgrade" to the 6550. They are different tubes each with its strengths and weaknesses.
The reason for matching is to equalize the current draw though both sides of the OPT and to ensure that each tube is doing the same amount of work as any other. Thus matching one tube with another on same side is pointless. It would be better to exchange one from each side.
Whenever you change an output tube the bias should be checked and reset as required.
