traynor810

I am looking at a used traynor810 bass cab for 550$ candian do you think its not's a great price. I wanted to use a smallblock 200h as a head would it work. I use a hartke 215xl the G and D strings are barley heard. Would it be hearble with the traynor810

There's nothing quite like a Traynor 8x10

If you are trying to solve your issues with the G & D strings with a larger cabinet, that is not the way to go. Perhaps the pickup height on your bass needs to be adjusted? Do you know how to setup your bass? Anyone you can bring it to for evaluation purposes? Maybe you are setting the tone controls way too crazy with the Hartke 215. Can you post a photo of your settings and what your bass looks like? Trying to save you some money here!

My best guess is the amp settings or possibly phasing issues if it's happening live. Boosting your low mids and adding a compressor would probably help, but without seeing how your setting your amps eq is only speculation. All of your basses are exibiting the same problem on the D&G string I assume?
