What can you do to fix bass Cabinet damage like this?
Use gap-filling super glue and tape the tear down with masking tape until it dries.
Thats a bass head?
It's defying in gravity in that pic. So I think it can be anything it wants to be.
Why don't you try contact cement?
Do you have cement's email address?
Thanks - I'll look into it. I have three of these scrapes on my little ampeg 1x15.
If you use contact cement, that stuff is strong, has a very strong bond.
3M yellow weatherstrip adhesive, it comes in black now as well. Apply to both sides being glued wait 2 mins and you'll need a grinder to get it apart. Works good.
you can fix the cab AND get high, all-in-one
that's just wrong
A real musician would use duct tape.
You got that right!
Wow! That is one beat up cab. But I'll bet it sounds great!
I think it's upside down too...
Superglue worked for my cabs, when I cared what they looked like lol!
I pulled all the tolex off mine and spray bombed it black. Now when starts looking hashed again, 2 seconds with the Krylon and it's good as new.
It's tolex was shredded when I got it anyway, perfect road warrior cab now.
Yours looks like it needs a couple dabs of super glue, though you'd get style points for using non-colour-matched duct tape
Holy Cow !..............Talk about MOJO
