Well then, I will report back in a day or so.
Hopefully my endless boxes of random caps, resistors and parts will supply the goods.

Getting a little impatient, are we? Anything that's good is worth waiting for. This must be REALLY good!Well, that didn't happen.
Life got in the way, OK!?!? LolWell, that didn't happen.
So 2022?Life got in the way, OK!?!? Lol
No seriously, I opened it up and there were already treble bleed caps on each of the pots.
I'll post a pic when I get a chance.![]()
Is multi layer ceramic ok to use for this (on volume for a mudbucker on a P bass)? Been reading for 2 days and they are less expensive & more plentiful <bigger selection(s)> One place i was reading said that multilayer ones were more prone to microphonics (from vibrations from the bass) although i thougt micro-phonics mainly applied to pups and tubes! There's three common sorts of treble bleed options. The simplest is just a cap. Many teles are wired with this. But IME, the most natural sounding will involve a resistor as well. Some guys put the resistor in parallel with the cap, but the most well known is probably the one Chris Kinman puts in his wiring harnesses. That has the resistor and cap in series.

Typically the cap is around 1nF, but for bass, you may want to go higher than this. And the resistor is around 150k. The one on the bottom left is my favourite, but try them all out and see which you like the best!

Should be aok. You dont need a pricey part for this application
