Trevor Dunn Rig

Can't help you I am afraid.

But he is an amazing bass player, and quite profecient on upright as well.

He has been involved in some John Zorn projects as well, who by the way produced Mr. Bungle's debut record.

Though I am partial to Mr. Bungles second and third album, especially their 2nd, "Disco Volante", and not particular interested in their most recent more straight heavy metal incarnation.

And yes, Dunn's own trio, where he plays a lot of upright bass is killer as well.

I realized it's probably been closer to 30 years since I've seen Dunn perform!
...but in case this helps: He played everything on a 5-string that night. :)
He did borrow my amp once. The Trevor Dunn Trio was playing at some place in Manhattan once with one of my friend's bands. Needed an amp. My friend asked me if he could "borrow my bass amp for the backline of his show," specifically not mentioning who was going to use it during the show in order to surprise me when i showed up. I was surprised.

So i can say for one very specific show in NYC in the early 2000s he used a Hartke 1415 combo amp.

He was mostly playing upright with a pickup that night, if i remember correctly. No idea what he pedalboard was running, tho. 🤷‍♂️
