Exactly what I was thinking. This is what Fender’s new Aerodyne lineup should look like.A few of them remind me of boutique custom shop versions of a Fender Aerodyne.The Purple to blue flip sparkle on that Squier Paranormal boutique copy is amazing!!!

's and giggles I configured a Shob, pretty basic (basswood, white with tort, maple neck/finger board, SS frets, chrome hardware, passive) and came out just south of $2K which is just about what I expected. Always thought that if I were to have a bass custom built it would be something similar, like a mid 50's P/Tele bass similarly outfitted but with a bound body. No option for that on this model and no option for the Tele type headstock. Some really interesting looking instruments though and I would assume from the pricing that they should be quite well built.
