Triggerfinger bass growl

Hi guys,

I've just discovered the Triggerfinger - Man Down cover.

Searching how the sound is made, i've found the following topic :
Which Overdrive For This Sound?

What do you guys thing about how to reach such a sound? valve head, sure but maybe with some effects too?

Fresh strings and a TC Spark Booster (big one) would totally cop this. I love Triggerfinger btw. I saw them live more than a few times

Lol, you're right but I forget to say that I feel this one not enough "crunchy" but maybe it's just due to the video test.
