Hi all,
Has anyone tried any of the Triton Audio products? I'm interested in the BigAmp as an in-line piezo-pickup preamp (+15dB):

They also have a mic preamp (FetHead), although the 20dB of amplification comes with a caveat: @1000ohms impedance. For a vocal mic of about 300 ohms, you be looking at about 10dB & a ribbon mic (60 ohms-ish) only about 5dB.
FetHead - tritonaudio
Figures aside however, both are supposed to improve frequency & transient response due to their acting as impedance matching buffers. Both also have impressively flat response curves, although there's no indication of the how much smoothing has been applied to obtain these. Another caveat; they both need phantom power (18-48V) to work.
Anyone able to provide an account of their experiences with these for DB use?
Thanks!
