Triumph Bass?

Hi all! I just picked up a pretty sweet 4 string made by Triumph? I have never heard of the company before and in researching could only find 2 acoustic guitars, a six and a twelve string, for sale, that were from the sixties. The case looks like and old Fender and the bass is a p bass style with laminated body, maple board, and grover open back tuners. Does anybody here have any experience with a Triumph bass and if so, could you please fill me in on whatever you can regarding where made, possible age? It is high quality with exceptional tone, but I am wondering if it was a "cheapie" in it's day or considered more than that. TYIA.

Looks like a OEM variant with a different retail name from the same factory that made the Hondo basses. Otherwise a standard P copy, the unique string through bridge/tailpiece with the heavy brass saddles is almost identical to those in the Hondo basses (from the scale of the pix)
